US-206 / US-1 / Princeton Dinky

Home to Princeton University (founded 1746), the Institute for Advanced Study (where Einstein worked), and Princeton Theological Seminary. The Borough of Princeton and Princeton Township merged into a single consolidated municipality in 2013. The core of the region centers on Nassau Street, the University campus, Palmer Square, Princeton Battlefield State Park, and the Princeton University Art Museum. The Princeton School District is one of the highest-rated public systems in New Jersey. The Princeton Branch (affectionately called 'the Dinky') connects downtown Princeton to the Princeton Junction station on the NJ Transit Northeast Corridor.
