The western side of the city of Toledo and the western Lucas County suburbs, anchored by Sylvania, Ottawa Hills, Springfield Township, and the University of Toledo main campus. Sylvania has one of the region's strongest school districts and a historic small-city downtown. Ottawa Hills is a small affluent village entirely surrounded by Toledo. West Toledo contains the Westgate retail corridor along Central Avenue and the historic Old Orchard and Deveaux neighborhoods.
