The northern suburban ring of Onondaga County along the I-81 and NY-481 corridors between Syracuse and the northern growth frontier. Anchored by the Town of Cicero (the largest northern suburb, home to the Cicero Swamp and the Great Northern Mall corridor), the Town of Clay, the Village of Liverpool (within the Town of Salina), Baldwinsville (on the Seneca River in the Town of Lysander), Van Buren, and North Syracuse (village). The region is served by the North Syracuse, Liverpool, and Baldwinsville school districts and features lakefront access to Oneida Lake and Onondaga Lake.
