Crisfield, Princess Anne & Somerset County

US-13 / MD-413

Maryland's least populous Eastern Shore county, occupying the lower Chesapeake Bay side of the peninsula. Anchored by Princess Anne (the county seat and home to the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, an 1886 HBCU) and Crisfield — the self-proclaimed 'Crab Capital of the World' on Tangier Sound, home to the annual National Hard Crab Derby. Also includes Deal Island, Marion Station, Eden, and the isolated Smith Island (accessible only by ferry, famous for Smith Island Cake, Maryland's official state dessert).
