Snow Hill, Pocomoke & Inner Worcester

The inland and southern portion of Worcester County, along the Pocomoke River and US-13 corridor. Anchored by Snow Hill (the county seat and historic 1642 colonial town on the Pocomoke River) and Pocomoke City (the southernmost city in Maryland, near the Virginia line). Also includes Stockton, Girdletree, Newark, and Bishopville. The region is characterized by rural agriculture, cypress swamps along the Pocomoke River, and the Pocomoke State Forest.
