Keizer & North Salem

Salem's most immediate northern suburb and the metro's second-largest community. Keizer (pop ~39,200) is a fully incorporated city that wraps around Salem's northern boundary, offering suburban neighborhoods, Volcanoes Stadium, and easy I-5 access. The adjacent Hayesville CDP and north Salem neighborhoods share Keizer's family-oriented, mid-range housing character. This is the commercial and residential heart of the northern metro.
