South Sacramento & Elk Grove

The communities south of downtown Sacramento along the Highway 99 and I-5 corridors. Elk Grove is the region's anchor -- Sacramento County's second-largest city with extensive master-planned subdivisions and the Cosumnes River College terminus of the SacRT Blue Line. The unincorporated CDPs of Florin and Vineyard fill the gap between Sacramento proper and Elk Grove, while Galt serves as a smaller agricultural-edge city along Highway 99 to the south.
