Provo & Orem
The twin-city urban core of Utah Valley. Provo (pop. ~115,500) is the county seat and home to Brigham Young University (34,000+ students), while Orem (pop. ~95,800) hosts Utah Valley University (42,000+ students) — making this one of the most university-dense regions in the western US. The two cities share a continuous urban fabric along University Parkway and State Street. FrontRunner stations at Provo Central and Orem Central connect to Salt Lake City. Downtown Provo has a revitalized dining and arts scene. Neighborhoods range from historic tree-lined streets near BYU to newer developments on the west bench.
