Anchored by the City of Washington (the county seat, home to Washington & Jefferson College and the Meadows Racetrack and Casino), Canonsburg (birthplace of Perry Como and the Four Coins), Peters Township / McMurray (one of the most affluent and fastest-growing Pittsburgh suburbs, home to a nationally-ranked school district), Cecil Township, North Strabane Township, South Strabane Township, Chartiers Township, and the Trinity area.
