The upper suburban ring of Bucks County and the northernmost portion of Montgomery County. Anchored by Doylestown (the Bucks County seat, home to the Mercer Museum and the Michener Art Museum), Newtown Borough and Township (a historic Quaker settlement), Yardley (on the Delaware River), Warminster, Warrington, Richboro, Northampton Township, Middletown Township, New Britain, and the upper Montgomery communities of Lansdale, North Wales, Harleysville, Skippack, Collegeville (home of Ursinus College), and Perkiomen Valley. The region is characterized by former Revolutionary War battle sites, historic Quaker farmsteads, and upscale suburban subdivisions along the SEPTA West Trenton, Lansdale/Doylestown, and Warminster Regional Rail lines.
