Blackfoot & Clearwater Valleys

Rural communities east and northeast of Missoula along the Blackfoot River (MT-200) and into the Clearwater-Seeley Lake corridor. This region includes Clinton along I-90 east, the small CDPs of Turah and Piltzville near the Clark Fork-Blackfoot confluence, and the recreation-oriented community of Seeley Lake in the Swan-Clearwater valley. These areas offer the most rural character in the metro, with timber-country heritage and abundant outdoor access.
