Lake Dr / N. Lake Drive

The affluent lakefront suburbs immediately north of Milwaukee along Lake Michigan, anchored by Shorewood, Whitefish Bay, Fox Point, Bayside, River Hills, and Glendale. This 'North Shore' corridor contains the Milwaukee County Estabrook Park, the Schlitz Audubon Nature Center, and some of the region's highest-rated school districts (Whitefish Bay, Fox Point/Bayside, Glendale-River Hills). The communities are linked to downtown Milwaukee by the MCTS Gold Line bus and Lake Drive (WI-32).
