South Memphis & Whitehaven

The southern portion of Memphis from the I-55 / Elvis Presley Boulevard corridor down to the Mississippi state line. Whitehaven is the historic anchor neighborhood (pop. ~38,000), home to Graceland and the Memphis International Airport -- the world's busiest cargo airport and FedEx's global hub. South Memphis proper includes Westwood and neighborhoods along the I-55 corridor. The area offers some of the metro's most affordable housing with easy interstate access. Ongoing investment around the airport and logistics corridor is driving economic development.
