East Memphis

The established residential corridor east of I-240 and south of the Wolf River, anchored by the University of Memphis, Chickasaw Gardens, and the Poplar Avenue commercial spine. East Memphis contains some of the city's most desirable neighborhoods with mature trees, quality schools, and proximity to major employers. The University District around the University of Memphis adds a college-town energy. Key neighborhoods include Colonial Acres, Sea Isle, Quince, and Hickory Hill farther south.
