Downtown & Midtown Memphis

The historic urban core of Memphis, stretching from the Mississippi River bluffs through the Beale Street entertainment district, South Main Arts District, and into the eclectic Midtown neighborhoods. Downtown is the civic and tourism center with Beale Street, the National Civil Rights Museum, and FedExForum arena. Midtown is the city's cultural heartland, home to Cooper-Young, Overton Park (Memphis Zoo, Brooks Museum), Central Gardens, and Vollintine-Evergreen -- walkable neighborhoods with historic homes, independent shops, and a vibrant arts and dining scene.
