Central Maui

The practical heart of the island, occupying the flat isthmus between the West Maui Mountains and Haleakala. Kahului is Maui's commercial hub with the main airport, harbor, and big-box retail, while the adjacent county seat of Wailuku retains a walkable, historic-town character with locally owned shops along Market Street. Waihee-Waiehu and Waikapu round out the region with quieter residential options close to everyday services.
