I-70 East

The eastern suburban county of Hancock along I-70, plus the east side of Marion County (Warren Township, Lawrence). Greenfield is the Hancock County seat with a historic downtown square and the James Whitcomb Riley birthplace. Fortville and McCordsville sit on the northwest edge of Hancock County, bordering Hamilton County and drawing similar growth. New Palestine and Cumberland are smaller southern communities. The east side of Marion County includes the Irvington historic district and the Post Road/I-465 retail corridor.
