The US-290 and SH-249 corridors stretching from Jersey Village through Cypress to Tomball, one of the metro's fastest-growing suburban belts. Cypress is an unincorporated community that has mushroomed with master-planned neighborhoods along the Grand Parkway (SH-99), while Tomball retains a small-town historic downtown. Jersey Village offers an incorporated-city alternative with its own services. The Cypress-Fairbanks ISD is among the largest school districts in Texas.
