Ewa & Kapolei

The fast-growing western plain of Oahu, centered on Kapolei — Oahu's designated 'second city' — and the sprawling residential communities of Ewa Beach, Ewa Gentry, Ocean Pointe, and Hoakalei. This is where most of Oahu's new housing construction is happening, with master-planned neighborhoods, the Skyline rail's western terminus, and the Ko Olina resort district. The region also includes the Leeward Coast communities of Nanakuli, Waianae, Makaha, and Maili, which offer a more rural, culturally Hawaiian character along the dry western coastline.
