Central Oahu

The broad plateau between the Waianae and Koolau mountain ranges, home to the master-planned communities of Mililani Town and Mililani Mauka, the historic plantation town of Wahiawa, and the military installations of Schofield Barracks and Wheeler Army Airfield. Central Oahu is the island's agricultural heartland — pineapple fields once blanketed the red-dirt landscape — and today offers some of the most affordable family housing on the island with good schools and quick H-2 freeway access to Pearl Harbor and Honolulu.
