Westside & Upper Valley

El Paso's most desirable residential corridor, stretching from the western slopes of the Franklin Mountains through the historic Upper Valley along the Rio Grande. This region includes the city's most affluent neighborhoods — Coronado Hills, Kern Place, and the Cimarron master-planned community — as well as the separate communities of Canutillo, Westway, and Vinton in the agricultural Upper Valley. UTEP anchors the area's educational and cultural identity. The Upper Valley is the greenest part of El Paso County thanks to Rio Grande irrigation.
