Upper Valley Border & Anthony

The northernmost corridor of the El Paso metro, stretching along the Rio Grande from Vinton through Anthony to the New Mexico state line. This area overlaps with the Las Cruces metro's southern communities — Sunland Park and Anthony, NM are just across the state line. Anthony, TX (pop. ~3,671) is a small incorporated city that straddles the border with its New Mexico namesake. This region serves as a transition zone between the El Paso and Las Cruces metropolitan areas.
