City of Detroit

The 139-square-mile city of Detroit itself, organized around downtown, Midtown, Corktown, and the 50+ neighborhoods stretching from the Grosse Pointe border in the east to Dearborn in the west and from the Detroit River north to 8 Mile Road. The city's revival has centered on downtown, Corktown (home to the renovated Michigan Central Station and Ford's mobility campus), Midtown (Wayne State University, Detroit Institute of Arts, Detroit Medical Center), and the New Center. The QLINE streetcar runs 3.3 miles along Woodward Avenue.
