Central Columbia

The urban core of the South Carolina capital, spanning downtown Columbia, the University of South Carolina campus, and the historic in-town neighborhoods that ring the city center. Downtown anchors the area with the State House, Main Street district, and the Vista arts-and-dining corridor along the Congaree riverfront. South of campus, the Shandon, Rosewood, and Heathwood neighborhoods offer tree-lined streets and early-20th-century homes within walking distance of Five Points.
