The historic west side of the Pikes Peak region, anchored by downtown Colorado Springs (the Olympic City USA cultural core including the US Olympic & Paralympic Museum and the Pioneers Museum), Old Colorado City (a historic Victorian-era commercial district now known for galleries and restaurants), the Westside/Old North End, and Manitou Springs (an independent historic mineral-springs resort town at the base of Pikes Peak, home to the Manitou Incline and the Cave of the Winds).
