Northern Kentucky
I-75 South / I-471
The Kentucky side of the Cincinnati metro, known locally as Northern Kentucky or 'NKY.' This region spans three counties (Kenton, Boone, Campbell) and connects to Cincinnati via the Brent Spence Bridge (I-75), the Taylor-Southgate Bridge (US-27), the Daniel Carter Beard 'Big Mac' Bridge (I-471), and the Purple People Bridge pedestrian crossing. Covington and Newport anchor the historic river cities with walkable MainStrasse Village (Covington) and Newport on the Levee entertainment district. Florence, Erlanger, and Independence form the I-75 growth corridor, and the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) is in Boone County.
