Downtown & East End Charleston

The civic, cultural, and commercial heart of West Virginia's capital city, stretching from the downtown business district along Capitol Street east through the historic East End neighborhood to the State Capitol Complex. Downtown sits at the confluence of the Kanawha and Elk rivers, anchored by Haddad Riverfront Park, the Charleston Town Center, and the Clay Center for the Arts and Sciences. The East End is home to the Capitol Market, the Governor's Mansion, and a mix of historic homes and modern condos. KRT bus service radiates from the downtown City Center Station.
