Downtown Cedar Rapids

The core of the city of Cedar Rapids along the Cedar River. This region contains downtown Cedar Rapids (the US Cellular Center arena, the Paramount Theatre, Veterans Memorial Stadium, the Cedar Rapids Museum of Art), the NewBo (New Bohemia) district (rebuilt after the devastating 2008 Cedar River flood, now a walkable entertainment/food district with the NewBo City Market), Czech Village (the historic Czech-American commercial district with the National Czech & Slovak Museum and Library), Mays Island (home of the Linn County Courthouse and the historic Cedar Rapids City Hall), and the historic Time Check and Kingston Hill neighborhoods.
