Anchored by Norwalk (Connecticut's sixth-largest city and home to the SoNo Historic District — 'South Norwalk' — a revitalized arts and dining area along Washington Street, plus the Maritime Aquarium, Stepping Stones Museum for Children, and the Sheffield Island Lighthouse) and Westport (a historic artist's colony, home to Paul Newman's Newman's Own foundation, the Westport Country Playhouse, and a highly-rated public school district).
