I-12 East

The fast-growing southeastern quadrant of East Baton Rouge Parish, stretching from Broadmoor and Sherwood Forest east along the I-12 corridor to the Livingston Parish line. This area includes the newly incorporated City of St. George (pop. 86,000+), which formed in 2024 from previously unincorporated communities including Shenandoah, Oak Hills Place, and Village St. George. The Florida Boulevard and Airline Highway commercial corridors bisect this region.
