East Anchorage

The neighborhoods east of the New Seward Highway, set against the western edge of the Chugach Mountains. This diverse area includes Mountain View -- one of the most culturally diverse neighborhoods in the United States -- plus Muldoon, Russian Jack Park, Airport Heights, and the University-Tudor area near UAA and Providence Hospital. Muldoon Road serves as the main commercial spine, with the Glenn Highway providing freeway access north.
